Firm Wins Summary Judgment in Federal Discrimination/Retaliation Lawsuit

Carlsbad, California – February 28, 2014.  We are pleased to report the firm won summary judgment for water district in hard fought employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuit.  Led by partner Neal Meyers and Jeremy Dwork, the Federal District Court granted summary judgment in favor of the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District and its related agency.  In a hard fought case where the plaintiff alleged his layoff after a District-wide reorganization was retaliation because of his union activity and age discrimination, the court found no merit to the claims and dismissed the case, vindicating the District.  We pride ourselves on pursuing and securing the best results possible for its clients.  This victory is just the most recent in a string of favorable results.
