Michael Storti is a litigation attorney representing non-profits and public entities in employment and premises liability matters in both state and federal court. His prior experience includes representing parties in class and multi-district litigation involving claims of consumer fraud, unfair competition and product liability. He has also represented small and large businesses in litigated matters throughout the state. Michael has experience in all stages of pre-trial litigation including law and motion, class certification, complex discovery and appeals. He has also written articles published in California Litigation (California Lawyers Association – Litigation Section), and legal publications.
Michael studied law at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During law school, he was a mentor to other students as a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. He also volunteered with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to help clients with wage and hour claims before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. In addition to law, Michael studied business administration at Loyola Marymount University and in graduated with both a JD and an MBA.
Michael is a Carlsbad native and graduate of Carlsbad High School. While Carlsbad has always been home, he has lived in many different places, most recently Helsinki, Finland. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
